Scientific Research Unit:

This unit is involved with increasing the efficiency and efficacy of scientific research at the College of Arts. It also aims to establish research relationships at the local, regional, and international levels in order to open up new and innovative horizons and fields of research in the arts specializations.

Unit Objectives:

1- Develop scientific research skills using an academic technique.

2- Conduct applicable study on contemporary local and regional creative challenges.

3- Encourage the development of research talents in the arts.

4- Establish research partnerships with appropriate institutions at the local and regional levels.

Unit duties:

1- Create a plan for doing scientific research and the procedures for implementing it in the college.

2- Plan actions to help the college expand its capacity in scientific research.

3- Provide lectures, workshops, and courses on scientific research.

4- Develop a research database for use by academics and students.

5- Work to find scientific fields with high impact factors and encourage members to publish in them.

6- Identify scientific journals designated as ISI and urge members to publish in them.
