Speech of the College Vice Dean for Development and Quality

All praise be to Allah, praise befitting His Majesty and Great Power, and may Allah bless and grant peace to the Trustworthy Prophet and his family and companions,

With all determination and optimism, the College of Arts Vice Deanship for Development and Quality at King Saud University seeks to apply the best practices of quality and excellence in the college's fields of work. Quality in work means eliminating errors and shortcomings in work, and the Vice Deanship also seeks to anticipate the prospects for sustainable development in light of Saudi Vision 2030 and the King Saud University Strategy based on the Basic Law of King Saud University 1444 AH, which includes the King Saud university's goals: A) Serving higher education in the city of Riyadh in particular, and in the Kingdom in general. B) To be a leading regional and global institution in the field of university education, contributing to the development of the national economy, and working to meet the needs of the labor market and the knowledge economy. C) To drive the process of growth and development and enhance scientific research, innovation, creativity and leadership in various academic and applied fields. D) To raise the classification of higher education services in the city of Riyadh in particular, and in the Kingdom in general, in international university classification reports.

The Vice Deanship is concerned with developing and implementing academic accreditation standards and requirements, promoting excellence in academic, educational and administrative practices and continuous improvement at all levels. The Vice Deanship also builds a sustainable relationship between the college and its graduates and facilitates communication with them. The Vice Deanship contributes to developing skills and spreading the culture of skills development in several areas to improve the performance of college members, faculty members, employees and students. The Vice Deanship provides information bases and containers, employs technology to introduce the college, its programs and various activities, and spreads the culture of e-learning within the college. The Vice Deanship strengthens the college's relationship with the community through direct interaction with the community and meeting its needs, spreading the culture of arts, social responsibility and sustainable volunteer work in the community, and providing an opportunity for students and faculty members to participate in social programs related to their specializations. 

Noting that the Vice Deanship works through qualitative units that contribute to achieving the college's short-term and long-term goals, which are:
