Skills Development Unit

·         Unit Description:

The Skills Development Unit is dedicated to enhancing skills and promoting a culture of skills development through high-quality training programs specialized in various fields. The unit aims to improve the performance of college members, including faculty, staff, and students. It identifies training needs based on the goals of the college and university, participates in organizing training programs, and monitors their implementation and effectiveness.

 

·         Unit Tasks:

1.    Identify training needs and propose programs necessary for the skill development of college members.

2.    Coordinate with the unit's partners in the Skills Development Deanship, E-Learning Deanship, and others to implement training programs.

3.    Organize internal lectures and workshops within the college in collaboration with departments and supporting units.

4.    Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the implemented training programs.

5.    Contribute to attracting top trainers from inside and outside the university to offer specialized courses.

6.    Train students in self-learning, knowledge discovery, and enhance their academic and practical achievements.

7.    Develop a plan to elevate the skills of college members to achieve excellence and innovation in university education, learning, research, and leadership.

8.    Prepare an annual report on the unit's activities.
