The Department of Performing Arts offers three academic programs: BA in Theater, BA in Cinematic Arts, and BA in Music. The department focuses on providing students with high quality training in the fields of performing arts. Within the theoretical framework of performance and its history, our programs are designed to cover practical areas such as directing, acting, screenwriting, editing, conducting, scenography, cinematography, and production. The three programs rely heavily on the technical, hands-on aspects of learning to produce professional artists and filmmakers, thus enriching the quality of life in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in alignment with Vision 2030.

The immediacy of live performance creates an exceptional connection between the artist and the audience, resulting in a unique experience. The performing arts provide a platform for self-expression and creativity which promotes individuality and a collective cultural identity. Through the creative process, artists discover new layers of themselves and invite the audience to embark on a shared journey of exploration.
